My company has group Medicare coverage. I’ll just stay with them...maybe not.
I would like to introduce you to Kerry and Julie. Kerry retired from a Fortune 500 company and immediately enrolled himself and Julie in the company's group Medicare plan. The main reason they enrolled in this plan was because they were familiar with the insurance carrier; which is not uncommon. While this plan was adequate they did not take the time to research all of their Medicare options.
When I first met Kerry and Julie I explained to them how the company’s Medicare plan worked and then asked them specific questions. What benefits do they need from a Medicare plan? Who are their doctors and what prescriptions do they take? What are their concerns regarding their health insurance? Upon gathering their specific information and analyzing other available Medicare solutions I was able to educate them on their options and present these additional Medicare solutions for them to consider.
They ultimately decided to enroll in one of the Medicare solutions I presented that offered better health benefits and substantially reduced their cost. They now have the confidence that their Medicare plan meets their health insurance needs. Had I not helped them they would have stayed on the company’s plan paying higher cost and not receiving all the health benefits they deserve.
Kerry said “When we first met we were not interested in making any changes. However, you took the time to get to know us and our health insurance needs and then you educated us on our options such that we were able to see the benefits of making a change. Your approach to helping us made the decision simple and easy to understand.”
Who do you know who is turning 65 or retiring soon from a large corporation and has questions about Medicare and their options?
Please forward my email or share my contact information with them. We’d be happy to help them and promise they will get the excellent service they deserve.
