Medicare pays for a family trip to Scotland.
Tim and Gerry Franklin have been retired for several years now and were getting their health insurance through a Medicare supplement plan. We met through a connection at our church and when they found out that we help seniors navigate the Medicare Maze they asked if we could review their plan. Ever since enrolling into Medicare they have been healthy and were frustrated with the cost. They were tired of paying monthly premiums and felt they were not getting the most benefit from their plan.
We met to review their plan and like we always do we asked them specific questions to get to know them and their healthcare needs and concerns. We then took this information and analyzed it against all the available plans in their area. When we got back together we educated them on how Medicare works and what other options were available to them. Ultimately they decided to switch to a Medicare advantage plan because they felt it would better serve their needs. They did not have to sacrifice any healthcare coverage and now they have additional benefits, such as: dental, vision, hearing, and a free gym membership. Not to mention they are saving money on premiums and prescription drug costs.
Now they have the peace of mind knowing that their healthcare needs are being taken care of with a plan that they are comfortable with. Additionally, the money they saved is going to help pay for a family vacation to Scotland...what a great gift!
Who do you know who will be turning 65 or retiring soon and may have questions about Medicare?
Please forward them this story or share our contact information with them. We’d be happy to help them and promise they will get the excellent service they deserve.
